NOTEBOOKS

Repurposed Reflections

The issue

While the digitization has helped most industries decrease their paper waste tremendously, some still struggle. Like the creative industry. Test printing, dummy folding, color checking, and quick sketching is an almost inevitable part of a creative process, leading to piles of quality paper getting binned every day.

The idea

I collect paper waste from local print shops and art schools and upcycle it into notebooks filled with glimpses of random creative process. I cut, fold, glue, and sew the books by hand, and all materials down to the thread are recycled.
